The stroke length varies from 20 mm to over 1 meter, with rod diameters from 4 mm to 30 mm. Depending on the model we offer forces as little as 10N  up to 10,000N.

LDA provides professional technical advice and helps you defining the perfect position of your gas spring. Our extensive experience ensures the correct calculation of a gas spring for your application.

GAS SPRING types:

The Lift gas springs is our most popular gas spring. This type of gas spring is used as a counterbalance of weights and as a speed control device. They meet the highest worldwide standards for lifting, counter-balancing, lowering, tilting and damping of lids and covers.

Traction gas springs: The working principle of the GT-Lift is the opposite of the Lift type gas spring. While the Lift type gas spring is always prepared to extend the GT-Lift’s function is to compress itself.

Stainless Steel Gas Springs: For high corrosion resistance a wide range of stainless steel gas springs are available. These gas springs are produced for external applications such as the marine industry and for applications where a high level of cleanliness and hygiene is necessary (such as the food industry).

Stop lift gas springs have a special internal structure enabling the gas spring variable
positioning on the application. On applications where the Stop lift is used you will be able to stop the gas spring at any desired position. The gas spring will not move until an additional force is applied.

STEP-STOP gas springs with multi stroke section is a multi-section operating gas spring dividing the operating stroke into multi distinct sections for desired flap positioning. Grooves inside the tube allow the step-stop gas spring to stop at various custom predefined angles.

Lift & Lock gas springs with end positioning locking. As a regular lift type but with an additional end position locking feature. Depending on the type you can choose the end locking available at the extended, compressed or both positions.

Gas Springs for heavy duty applications: Lift gas springs for forces up to 7.4 KN to 50 KN.
